Gaining popularity due to being home of some of alternative rock’s biggest names and of course the Space Needle, Washington’s approximately 65 prestigious post high school educational institutions often get overlooked. The two largest of Washington’s six state schools are Washington State University and the University of Washington. The two institutions both have many campuses throughout The Evergreen State.Washington is also home to dozens of private institutions which offer a wide variety of courses.
